Privacy Policy

The Commonwealth Project LLC, which operates New Cumberland General Store, keeps this simple. We collect only what we need to run this website and stay in touch with people who ask us to.

What we collect

Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address in our own database to send you updates. We use double opt-in, so you confirm before we ever send anything. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Contact & RSVP. When you message us or RSVP to an event, we receive the details you submit so that we can respond and plan. RSVPs are stored against the event you signed up for.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track you across sites, which is why this site has no cookie banner. We also keep a first-party count of a few actions (newsletter signups, RSVPs, and clicks on directions or social links) in our own database, without any personal identifiers attached.

What we don't do

We never sell or rent your information. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not share your details except with the services that deliver our email and host the site, and only as needed to do that.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe, ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Email info@the-commonwealth-project.com and we will take care of it.
